I've done a quick forum search and couldn't find the answer so.....

Can I download the movie trailers from Apple.com to my iBook for repeated viewing...... and long term if I buy one to view on the Ipod Video?

Is it allowed? Do you have to get Quicktime Pro?

EDIT: Also I've got some old wmv files can I legally convert these?

I think it saves in a temp area with a weird file name, try watching one then do a smart folder for anything in the last hour. Should be in there...

I'm on 10.3.9 ..... no smart folders for me :-(

QT Pro save the trailers to your HDD , open in QT Pro and export to iPod option (QT 7.03)
then double click the new file and it will open up in iTunes 6 and be in that groovy new Videos menu

So basically I can if I have Quicktime Pro..... I was planning to buy it anyway just wanted confirmation that it would work :) and that there wasn't another way.

QT Pro is the best app in the world for me to edit clips and export them very quick

people with have you think all it does it fullscreen and save as LOL

Much much more then that

Don't know if any one know, but it's cool and very easy. This allows you to actually download a HD trailer.

Go to watch a HD trailer in Apple's trailer page. When you click on one of the size links, Quicktime launches and the movie begins to load. In Quicktime go under Window > Show Movie Info.

This will bring up a box with detailed info. If you look at the source their is link to the trailer. Highlight and drag this to Safari's download window and bam, trailer downloads for you to keep. Pretty cool.

Any way I thought I would share.
