I did a speed test on my macbook pro on my verizon jet pack connection and it shows it at around 24.32 mbps. I'm looking into another company and they say their speeds are around 400 kbps. Would these numbers be comparable at all? I googled a comparison chart but the numbers seem WAY off.

24 Mbps (Megabit per second) is faster than 400 Kbps (Kilobit per second), as 1024 Kilo are 1 Mega, thus the 24 Mbps connection is almost 62 times faster than the 400 Kbps connection.
