Is there currently any way to downloading streaming videos?
I'm looking for an app or something that will allow me to download vimeo videos.
I'm in an area with horrible hotel internet, and my phone internet is amazingly fast so I would like to download things on my phone for later viewing on my mac.
I've found apps that claim to be able to download vimeo videos, but none of them actually work on vimeo(or youtube, which I really don't care about)
I can't tether so thats out of the question.
I currently have a way to download torrents, and download downloadable files, I just can't seem to figure out a way to download streaming videos on vimeo. On my computer, I use 'downloadhelper' for firefox.

I am running iOS 7 on an iPhone 5s
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You'll struggle... Sadly.

^+1.

You maybe able to find some capture utility on the web but when we are talking about playing the whole thing before you can save the content. Painful. Pay for an unlimited plan.

No one in this country offers an unlimited tethering plan

Seagate wireless

You can purchase the Seagate wireless device which has a 1Tb hard drive
This gives you a way to store hundreds of movies (avi,MP4 ) and enjoy watching them
There are other devices like that bit much cheaper such as the 8ware Helio dock which allows a USB memory stick or a portable drive upto 300Gb
I have that and bought it for $50
The app,8ware is available from the Apple Store for free
