Download to desktop in Leopard

this should be an easy one but how do i get my downloads to save on the desktop instead of the downloads folder? thanks.

There is. If you are using Safari (I'm assuming you are) go to
Safari->Preferences
There is a option that says "Save downloaded files to:"
Use the trop down menu to other
In the pop-up box, select desktop. (It's on the left, places menu)


Why would you want to save things to the desktop? The stacks make it so much cleaner.
