I want to download videos without urls from web pages. Is there an app for this? On Windows, Internet Download Manager (IDM) does this.

I don't mean YouTube videos. I can already do that with "ClipGrab". But some videos don't have urls that I can copy into an app. I have to download them when I play them on Firefox/Safari.

I tried a Firefox extension but it was really slow.

I don't have a specific app for you, but if this is something you do frequently, for most websites its pretty easy & quick to inspect the webpage and find the link in the code.

All you need to do is open the inspect window for the webpage and Cmd + F for different video formats like mp4, mov, etc. Chances are you'll find the direct URL to the video and can then download it easily.

It doesn't work 100% of the time, but it'll do for almost every regular website you encounter.

I tried it for a website I need to download videos from. It didn't work. Couldn't find any .mp4 .ts .mov files.
