Download YouTube video websites

Hi all,

I'm looking for a website to download YouTube videos. I indeed did Google. I used to use KeepVid.com, but now that site, with seemingly every other site I can find, want to install some sort of application to download videos. KeepVid used to just convert the video for you and let you download as a .mp4, but no longer.

Does anyone have a suggestion? Or is it safe to install whatever garbage they're trying to put on my computer?

KeepVideo uses Java, which it always did.

You could use ClickToFlash, or you could use Safari's Activity window, or you could use ClipGrab, all of these are free, but applications of course.
I use ClipGrab and it is faster than using KeepVid.
