downloaded app accidentally didn't give correct permissions - now won't open

As the title suggests I downloaded a piece of software from the internet,

it asked me for a certain permission, which I cannot recall exactly what it was.

I tried to look in the security and privacy settings for the app could not find it and now the app opens and closes on the exact screen where it was asking me for the permissions only this time there is no option I am just stuck?
