Downloaded Lion, using FaceTime

Hi,

I can't understand how to login to FaceTime on my mac... I can sign in to the first part no problem.

Next it asks for an email address for people to call me on...

When I type this in it says 'Unable to verify email address because it is already in use by another Apple ID'... I don't know what this means.

Can anyone help me at all please?

Are you logged into FaceTime (multitask) through your iPhone or iPad?

If not, clear the local files and try again?
