Downloading Adobe Flash Player and other updates

Hi, I'm running on a MacBook Pro OS X 10.4.11. I can't seem to run any web
videos anymore. I'm trying to download Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.45.2,
but I just noticed that I can't download any updates.

Could it be my settings or the netwark I'm using? Ether way, can someone help me with my computer settings just to rule-that-out please?
This is driving me nuts!!!!!! Thank you.

What type of connection do you use for the net?

Do you have any third part firewall software?

Has there been any error messages?
