Is there a particular reason why you aren't using iChat? You just use your same AIM screen name. :)

Or alternatively, you could download Adium for free. It's a great app and it allows you to chat w/ all sorts of network thingies (google talk, AIM, MSN, etc.).

YOu just need StuffIt to open up bin files. I wouldn't download that AIM anyway, hasn't been updated since 2004.

I'll ad my voice to the stay away from that AIM, for the following reasons:

  1. It hasn't been updated in like 3 years.
  2. It is PowerPC only.
  3. It wasn't even that great when it was new.
  4. iChat is way way better. iChat does AIM accounts, and it is my preferred client.
  5. Adium is a great option also.
Also, be wary of anything that comes as a .sit or .bin file. Those are usually associated with older Macs and probably contain PowePC-only software which has to run in emulation, slowing down an entire Intel Mac system in the process.
