Downloading archived Gmail messages to MAIL

I have a bunch of archived messages on my Gmail account, and I would like to download them so I can quickly search them with Mail.

How can I get those archived messages to my computer?

Yep. I found out... go to gmail.com and log in.

Go to settings.
Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
Next to POP Download, select the circle that says "Enable POP for all mail (even mail that's already been downloaded)".
