Downloading both originals & edited photos from iCloud

I'm trying to download both my original photos and edited photos from iCloud. Let's say I have 2,000 photos of which 100 have been edited. To get both the edited photos and the originals, I have to download all 2,000 photos twice - once with 'Unmodified Original' selected and once with 'Most Compatible' selected. The edited photos can then be distinguished from the non-edited ones as the edited photos show up as JPEG while the originals show up as JPG. But this involves the extra time of having to download the 2,000 photos twice, then remove 1,950 photos which were downloaded in their original format twice.

Does anyone know of a quick workaround?
