iOS downloading files over network

Hello,

I want to write an application which facilitates downloading files over the network. For this,

1. I will have to detect the availability of the network (Something like reachability may do this). Any other suggestions might be useful for me!
2. i will have to start the transfer and will have to continuously check for the presence of network. How I do this?

1) Use reachability
2) Why are you checking for the presence of the network? The transfer will fail if the device is disconnected from the network. Detect that.
