Downloading from websites straight to iPhone/iPad?

I was just wondering if there was a way to download directly music from a website to your iPhone/iPad because there is a mixtape I really want to download but my laptop isn't working currently. Is it possible through app form or a different method!? Thanks,

Can you copy them into the IPod section of the phone or do you play the, through the app itself?

You'd need a third part application capable to store your music and reproduce it. To sync your music with your computer you need to use iTunes.

I believe you have to play them through the app. If you want to transfer files, according to the app notes, you need to use your computer with iTunes File Sharing.
