Hi

I recently bought a Macbook and it came with iMovie 08, and I'm currently editing a project in it. The problem is that iMovie 08 can't do fast and slow motion effects for video clips like iMovie 06 can, so now I want the older version of iMovie.

I went to the Mac support website and saw that I could download iMovie 06.0.2, but that I needed 6.0.1 installed first on my Mac. Then I was reading that iMovie 06 comes free with iLife...but all of iLife's applications...iMovie, iPhoto, garage band, iWeb, iDVD...are already installed on my MacBook. So why would I need iLife? Or do I have to actually use some registered serial number that comes with iLife in order to download iMovie 06? I'm lost on how to do this... maybe I should just save my money and put it toward Final Cut Express instead
