iPod Downloading news, weather to iPod - Pod2Go or something else?

Is Pod2Go the best app for downloading news, weather and other text-based content to the iPod? Now that my PDA is gone I really miss AvantGo.

I want to be able to set up subscriptions to news sites, weather, whatever and have it automatically downloaded and put onto my iPod. Any other apps do this besides Pod2Go?
