Downloading on 3G network causes iPhone to freeze.

I started downloading all the applications I wanted from the App store when the store itself launched with no problem. But now that I have my iphone, I'll be away from the house/computer on the 3G network and spot a program I'd like. I downloaded iPint yesterday over the network and its installation caused the iphone to lock up and restart, which took about 3 minutes until i could use the phone again. I spent time last night restoring the software (went from 2.0 build 5A345 to 2.0 build 5A347) and tried again today with the newer 2.0 software and the free VNC client. Again the iPhone locked up on installation, and restarted. Is this normal when installing apps from the App Store on a 3G network? I hope not, and I hope it's fixed soon!

I've had the same thing happen to me. It seems to happen when I downloaded numerous apps back to back. I try to d/l a lot at one time on itunes and then sync them all at once.
