Downloading past purchases from the App Store?

I have the latest 4.35 iOS for my iPad1 and 10.4.1 iTunes. On my iPad, the Purchased icon at the bottom still doesn't show up. Any ideas how to get this to work? Have no problem on the iPhone, just my iPad is the problem.

If you are looking for a specific app, you could always just go to that app and "buy" it again - it will tell you that you already paid for this app and will not be charged.

Wanted to see the history to see what I have downloaded in the past.

Log onto the App Store and select the "Purchased" tab on the bottom of the screen.

That's just it. There is no tab at the bottom... even after signing in.

Are you doing this from your iPad using the App Store app? There are 6 icons at the bottom of the window and they show in all 6 sections.

Mine doesn't have 6. Only 5 in the App Store on the iPad. It just isn't showing up for some odd reason. I have the Purchased tab in both iTunes and iBooks, just not App Store. Very weird.
