I am a new Mac user, have a Mac Book Pro OS X 10.8.2. I would like to download streaming video like from PBS shows. Do I need third party software to do this? It is so easy to do with my iPad with many different apps, but am struggling to find a way to do this and capture the good quality of the video. Any help would be appreciated.

To download streaming video like from PBS shows

All you need to do is just download RealPlayer Version 12.0.0 (1725)
select all typ of video extensions.
The RealPlayer download will auto appear when u play PBS, & willgive u the option to download it in your hard drive.
GOOD LUCK.

Thanks

I appreciate your suggestion but have been unable to make it work yet. I downloaded Real Player, I click on the video screen and no download window pops up. I tried on several of the sites the Real Player instructions suggested and none of them work either. Any other help? Are you successful doing this from your MBP?
