Hello,
I'm going to buy an 8GB Touch this afternoon and would like to know if I can download church sermons via Wi-fi. My local library is a free Wi-fi hotspot and I plan to go there to listen to the sermons but can I download them? The site is www.sermonaudio.com if someone would be so kind and check it for me. Thanks alot, Michael K.

Downloading to the Touch?

Thanks Muncher....you made my day!

Downloading to the Touch?

Dark Angel,
Yes, they do have a great site! Thanks for the iPod Phone/Touch link.
I haven't seen that. And there's a video re: the Phone/Touch too!
That iPod is truly amazing!!
I didn't get a chance yesterday to get to Costco but I plan on getting the Touch today. I think that you may be right about only being able to stream.
As you said, it doesn't say anything about downloading....just streaming.
Well, it really doesn't matter, I'll still buy the Touch but it sure would be nice to be able to download sermons at the library and bring the Touch home and listen to them on my home speaker. Reason being, I'm getting rid of internet service for 3 months as a test of my self-discipline. I'm on permanent disability and spend WAY too much time on the internet every day ( no, not porn.... sermons, research, uTube, email, looking at interesting things ) when I should be doing other things like cleaning, yard work, reading BOOKS and studying God's WORD and spending time with people. Yes, I am addicted to the internet. Sorry about that ranting...... Anyway, if downloading doesn't work, then, as Muncher pointed out, podcasts should be able to be downloaded.
I know of many Christian Mp3 sites that offer podcasts.
Thanks for your input, Dark Angel......... Michael K.
