I would like to download videos off of Youtube (among other places) and then put them together into full-length movies. There are some old cartoons I want my kids to see that are not available on DVD.

As a mac user, what are my options here? What software do you guys recommend?

Safari Activity Window or keepvid.com + MPEG Streamclip + iMovie + iDVD

Safari Activity window lets you view the components of one page, so you can double click the .flv file and download it, which you later can convert with MPEG Streamclipü to something useful for iMovie.

MRoogle is your friend finding lots and lots of similiar threads about your question (if asked right).
