Downloads do not strat when i click on download links in my macbook 2.4 ghz,250 gb

The same links work when i access them from the same internet connection on my windows destop computer,the only download links that would work when clicked are rapidshare ones,even apple.com links do not work i often have to use save link as sometimes i do not get that option..

Anyone informed on this?

what browser are you using? and post an example link that doesn't work on your Mac

Anything like google chrome for mac downloadable on google chrome site,i only do not get this problem with rapidshare,absolute ***** i tell you because dtaoneclick(its like save link as) does not always work apart from that i am really enjoying my first ever mac.

I am trying that repair permission thanks in advance...
