Downside to buying iWork 09 used?

Well I need to pick up a copy of iWork 09, and after looking online the new copies are running around 70, but on amazon they have several used copies hovering around 35. Tempting to say the least, but if I buy used will it screw me in anyway? Is there a license code that will have already been redeemed making a used purchase essentially money down the tubes? Thanks fellas.
