Dear all,

I love to sync photos to my aTV. However iTunes syncs them at the full 12MP size to the aTV Harddisk, although even HD TV only has an effective 2MP (1920x1080).

This looks like a waste of diskspace without an effective quality benefit. For iPod Touch and iPhone, iTunes gives you the option to adjust the resolution. Of course I could resize manually, but that's more work and would mean I have to store the photos on my iMac in 2 resolutions (full & small)...

My questions:
1) am I right in my assumption that 12MP or 2MP will not show a different quality, even on a Full HDTV?
2) Is there a way to have iTunes do the resizing of the pics automatically (like on iPod)?
3) Is it possible to stream photo´s from my iMac to my aTV (w/o full sync)?
4) If "yes" to 3), how?

Thanks for your help!

Regards,

Vincent
