Looks like our friendly cube at: http://www.appleinsider.com/article.php?id=1738 is opening up soon... supposedly 24 hour service. That's awesome. Now you can get tips at 3 am in the morning... for a powerbook?

I can't wait to get back to NYC this fall to check it out. Ought to be a masterpiece of architecture.

I get the feeling that THIS is when they'll be announcing the new MacBook.

Apple inviting press and analysts to a media event on the day before the store opening the invitation doesn't mention new products, focussing instead on showing them around the store but I'll be a monkey's uncle if no new products come of this.

Chances are very good I'll be there next Friday. I hope Steve Jobs himself is there. That'd be really awesome. Either way, it's going to be a grand opening to remember. I'll be sure to take plenty of pics!
