Can anyone recommend an inexpensive/cheap software for creating drawings. For example to plan bookshelves or cabinets on a wall for a house. Thanks.

Google Sketch Up is referred to often in the threads that ask for that kind of software.

Have you tried MRoogle yet to find similar threads?
