drag and drop in Automator

I am trying to figure out if there is any way to get Automator to drag-and-drop files into an application. The situation is this:
I want Automator to drag a specific video file into Garageband so that it sets that file up as a new track. I tried telling Automator to open the video files in garageband, but it doesn't work.

Anyone know how to bypass this so that Garageband opens up a video file as new tracks?
