Drag and drop - is it copying or moving?

hey guys,

I noticed quite a few times that sometimes when you drag and drop a text (e.g. in notes), the text will be copied and I have it twice (the “old” location and the new one where I wanted to move the text to).
On the other hand, sometimes it will be actually moved and “removed” from the old location.

Is there a difference how iOS handles this?
