Draggable dock - not working for me!

hey guys,

I just saw this tip at apple.com, and was kindof excitied:

but it's not working for me! Does this trick work for anyone?

Mine works. The trick is to hold shift, then click & hold over the divider. Move your mouse to the far reaches of the sides of your screen. It should magically move!

Unlike the pic on apple.com my mouse cursor stayedhorizontal :|

ohh oh i see i thought it shifted the dock to the corners, or sliding on the bottom. thanks!

Nope, to do that get a third party app for modifying the dock position. I use Tinker Tool
