Dragging images/files from Safari/Mail to Finder NOT WORKING =(

One prime feature I am seriously lacking is the ability to drag a image/file from one program window (usually Safari or Mail) to a Finder window.

In previous versions I use this extensively.
Now it looks like I always have to secondary-click and choose "save attachment/file to"

This is much slower than the previous way...

Any solution to this?

Here it works as ever.

Most of the time it works (I do a lot dragging of documents from mail to finder), but sometimes I have to drag the same document again to get it in Finder.
