Recently, I had this problem. (http://apple.stackexchange.com/ques...s-from-my-computer-to-my-iphone-it-misses-the)
I ended up restoring my phone and it was fine. But now it's happened again but THIS time, I can isolate the problem and repeat it.
This happens when I drag a song from Windows Explorer straight into the iPhone (from the iTunes window). After that, I will get this message when I load up the iPod app.

According to my iTunes, it's got the songs still on my iphone, and i can play it from iTunes too, but I can't see them from the iPod app!
If I drag new songs on there, I will get the previous "missing first 30 seconds" problem.
My phone is not jailbroken (anymore) and is a 3GS. I've tried all of the things people on the Internet have suggested such as - change the language to french - re-sync - Reset the Sync History
but nothing seems to work. I may have to restore my phone AGAIN, but I would prefer to only do that if I have to (cause I don't have Wi-fi and I have to go to my somebody's house to do it).
My question is 1) do you know a fix for it? 2) have you ever dragged files from windows explorer straight into your iphone (that is, your iphone music folder in iTunes) and did anything like this happen?
