Drained battery - iphone stuck on black screen apple spinning wheel

Right...

So i was without my charger and the battery drained...
so once i got home i plugged it to charge it for a while...and all i have is the black screen with applo logo and spinning wheel!
what am i supposed to do? i dont particularly want to do restore as none of my contacts + photos are saved...and it's jailbroken+unlocked and i do not have the original simcard...if anyone knows quick fix to that problem i will be forever grateful...
