Hey Everyone,

Well, well.......looks like most of the major companies that make DRAM for most of our computers have been involved in a price fixing conspiracy.

Infineon Technologies is pleading guilty to Price Fixing.....with most of the other DRAM manufacturing companies facing lawsuits. So, we've been paying more money for computers for quite some time now because of the this price fixing on Ram. Pretty disgusting if you ask me !!

Here's a link to the article..........www.cnn.com/2004/LAW/09/15/tech.price.fixing/index.html

:mad

If I remember correctly they have done this before
Where does the 160 million dollars infineon has to pay go? To the government/lawyers I guess?

The consumers should be the ones getting a piece of that.

Oh great. Even if it would have only saved me around $10 on a purchase of a new computer, its still $10.

I wish the group of people who decided on the price fixing would go to jail for 5 years or so. The way I see it, they robbed millions of people.
