Here
Ok so I have a Macbook aluminium. The other day I realized something about it. With a pencil, you can draw on it. You can easily erase it and it looks the same. So I was thinking of drawing some stuff on it. And I needed Ideas. Something like this. Witty. And funny.

And maybe a bunch of logos. Famous, element, fox, vans, supra. Skater brands. Anthing else?

No brands, IMO. Why give the companies the free advertising they so surely are not paying you to do?

Unless these companies pay you to put these brands on your MacBook, don't waste your time. Hell, knowing these companies, they probably may even sue you because you used their brand without their permission...remember, the heads of these types of clothing brands never wear their own stuff.

Don't forget most are made in some sweatshop in Indonesia. Clothing brand loyalty is just...meh...all the same crap from the same sweatshops. Maybe if they were a little more ethical to the world I wouldn't be so against it.

If you want to do this, come up with something creative and totally original.

^^ One of my friends has the same feelings as you.

Companies don't pay me to wear their clothes to display their logo sticker on my car. If I like the brand, I have no issue with wearing/displaying the logo.
So, i say draw the logo you think are cool. They would be stupid to sue you.

I was thinking of creating a doodle or cartoon sketch and making it a sticker to put on my case.

Make the apple eating somethings head off pac-man style.
Oooh thats good. I could have a ghost following it to.

I am putting them on because I like the logos. Not to do advertising. I wont be flaunting it around in public. Besides flying down to my condo in FL, I dont take it out in public.
I would do an original piece of art if I were you. Once you come up with something you really like, you could even put an invisible shield on your computer to "seal" the design. :)

Hmmm. Good idea. But I am not creative. And I dont want to have it permanent. And be able to change it easily.

So i started tonight. But still have 1 other logo. I know they arent good. Tomorrow I will have time to do some touching up. Pics

Forgive me, but I don't think that looks too good.
It's alright. I know I am not an artist.
Yea I would agree. Maybe sketch out what you want before you draw on it?
Well I am just mapping it out. The pacman turned out different that what I was thinking. Not sure about that. And the apple turned out baaaaad. I had a post it shaped like an apple. So I traced it but it looks really bad. Ill just freehand it tomorrow. Consider this a rough draft.

No offense but drawing other logos on the MBP's beautifully designed case is at best an eye sore.

I've seen people laser etch their MBP's case with some wonderful and extremely artful designs, that's great but putting another companies logo on just seems a bit, well, tacky.

If it rocks your boat, great, but for me it doesn't do anything.

Where did I say it was a unibody?

I said that the "MB" (i.e. "MacBook") looks like it's made from dark titanium alloy. And if you have ever seen dark sandlbasted titanium (and not that painted titanium from the days of the titanium Powerbook) you'd concur.

I probably wouldn't since it looks like black plastic with a matte finish.
I guess I do have an unfair advantage at identifying, since I did own a black Macbook.

Look at the picture of his, not your own computer ;)

Anyway, here are some titanium bow rails:

A snap shackle:

And finally some miscellaneous boating hardware made from titanium:
