Drawing or writing tool for trackpad

Does the macbook pro have any app or accessory that can be used as a drawing or writing tool with the trackpad or in general? For example, a few months ago Apple patented technology that allowed the Apple Pencil to used on the trackpad of the Mac laptops.

This would come in handy for taking notes, annotating, drawing, etc.

Not currently no, that patent may apply to future products though, if you have an iPad Pro you can use this as a Wacom tablet with Apple Pencil but currently you will need some sort of secondary device.
