Windows has paint. What does mac have? I want to use my graphire pen to draw and colour some things. Are there any free programs that I can use, or low cost, programs out there for macs?

for an up and coming illustrator replacement...

Try Line Form.

I do not wish to pony up the cash for CS3, so I have been loking for replacement programs. Line Form is the best Illustrator replacement I have found thus far.

Line Form is not free and has some problems, but it is under active development. All in all a good rethink of Illustrator.

Hmm... I just downloaded LineForm and tried to open my InkScape-created SVG files and got pretty funky results. Stuff was scattered all over the place (not where I created it - just randomly on the screen). Have you had this issue with LineForm?
