Hmmm. I'm confused. So it takes pics of you sleeping but it won't work if you're covered or sleeping with someone else and then wakes you up when it "thinks" you are having a dream? Then you write it down? And you can play the movies on iTunes?
It's a bit more than that.. It helps you sleep better, records your sleep and then wakes you up at the ideal time within your sleep pattern let me show you:

long bares are light sleep ad short bars are deep sleep. It was supposed to wake me up between the green bar but I never had the volume loud enough so it didn't.
