I've been working on a website for a project directly via FTP, so it's saved on a remote server.

I need to burn the entire website to a CD to hand in, how can I do this? It needs to be a working site on the CD, but I have no idea how to do it...

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Get an ftp application, like Cyberduck (free) or Transmit (15 day trial), download the whole site (the top folder) to your desktop (or wherever)*, burn to CD.

* This should be possible to do with the built-in ftp module in Dreamweaver, but I've always found a stand alone ftp client is invaluable... ;)

Really all that (FTP) is built into Dreamweaver. All you had to do was create a site. Point the remote site to where you have it now and point the local site to somewhere on your hard drive. Then in the Site window right-click on the remote site's root folder and choose Get. Now it'll be downloading all your files.

Also, depending on how you coded your links you'll want to test it on the CD, because they might not work.
