Help, please! I have created a spry navigation menu in DW CS3 and when I preview it thru DW it looks great; however, when I upload it to the Web it's a disaster. Instead of being a horizontal menu, it is nothing more than a bulleted list. What have I done wrong? You can see it for yourself by clicking here. It doesn't seem to matter which browser I view it in; Safari and Firefox both yield the same results.

Thank you in advance!

From looking at it, I see that your CSS file "SpryAssets/SpryMenuBarHorizontal.css" is not found. Make sure it's uploaded.

Hi Angelwatt,

Where do I upload this file to?

Thanks! --dawn

Well if you keep the destination the way it's being looked for, then make sure you have that SpryAssets folder on the server at the root level (same place your sample.html file is at), then simply add the CSS file to it. It's case sensitive too so make sure to take note of that.

Thank you, it worked!

It's in the Spry folder that is automatically generated by DW.
(there's also a javascript file in there)
Just upload the folder to the server, maintaining the same relationship to the index.html file.

Dreamweaver CS4 Spry Menu Bar

I have a very similar problem with my website. I have created my website in Dreamweaver CS4 and when I preview it through Dreamweaver it looks fine but when I upload it to the server it doesn't look as it should any more.

Here is the link:

(if it doesn't work, please try to copy above link and paste it into the browser window - for some reason it works like this  ).

I hope somebody can help me with that problem. It's one of my first web pages and I just don't know how to get through this problem :(
