After installing leopard, dreamweaver cs3 will not connect to any server via ftp. here it gives a long prompt about checking firewall and passive mode. I am not behind a firewall and have tried passive mode and not.

upgraded Tiger to Leopard (not clean install). Did not reinstall CS3. other FTP apps work fine. should I reinstall CS3?

I'm not in leopard, but I'm having a similar problem w/ Dreamweaver MX. It works great on my iBook (OS10.3.9), but won't connect now on my MBP (10.4.9)... dont' know how to fix it!

Reinstalling we probably fix most problems, tedious as it is, it will probably fix your FTP issue.

A reinstall is indeed a good bet. Sometimes when I have Dreamweaver FTP issues checking the "Use passive FTP" option can get things working.
Just a thought.
