Hi there,

I have just downloaded Dreamweaver CS4 from adobe. But when I hit the setup button I get this message:

----"The minimum system requirements listed below are needed to run Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 and are not met: 512.0 MB of RAM or more
Please upgrade or adjust your system to meet these requirements."----

Even though I have over 16GB available on my mac.

Does anyone have any advice or thoughts on this? Thanks in advance!!

Patsy.

click the apple logo in the top left of your screen, go to About This Mac and see what it says next to memory.

Unlike the others on this thread, I am going to assume that you know the differences between RAM and HD space.

It may be an error within the application to recognize that amount of RAM. You might want to remove several of you pieces of RAM bring it down to 4GB.

From the sounds of it you are running a Mac Pro, while it is simple to remove RAM from a Mac Pro, don't forget that it still requires matched pairs so you will be required to leave two sticks in.
