Recently when i create bootable backup in 10.14.4 using latest version of SuperDuper! i have had problem.
After backup, it shows three green rows and log shows all is ok but when i try to unmount external backup hdd, it fails:
Failed to eject “Apple sparse bundle disk image Media” because it is currently in use.
Sloth shows that diskimages-helper has 10 files like these open:
/Volumes/Backup/Macintosh HD.sparsebundle/bands/2fb
And i can kill diskimages-helper process but i wonder why this happens and does this killing damage my bootable backup disk image?
SuperDuper! log:
| 09:08:20 AM | Info | Successfully updated boot cache on Macintosh HD
| 09:08:20 AM | Info | ...ACTION: Unmounting Macintosh HD
| 09:08:20 AM | Info | ......COMMAND => Unmounting '/Volumes/Backup/Macintosh HD.sparsebundle'
| 09:08:20 AM | Info | Copy complete.
