Drive Genius Driveslim - anyone used it?

Whenever I run Driveslim, it comes up with thousands of files in 'Unused Localisations' including references to loads of apps like iPhoto, Numbers and Pages.
Taking an example, it shows ParallelsDesktop.app at 37.84Mb in the Applications folder, whereas the actual file is 126.9Mb.
What exactly is Driveslim doing here? Is it somehow removing files from within, or is it just a dangerous tool?
