Hey guys,

I have a 4TB usb 2.0 G-Drive attached to a new RMBP with 10.8 installed. For some reason I can't seem to eject the drive without force ejecting it. I get the standard message that warns that one or more programs may be using it, but I cannot figure out which. I use it only for time machine, so I am leaning towards this being the issue. I have tried a few terminal commands to see what is keeping it open, but I keep getting errors. I have looked to check in activity monitor to make sure that spotlight is not indexing and I have verified and repaired the drive. Do you guys have any idea what might be causing this problem?

Edit: I should also add that I have been getting an error that time machine cannot back up to the disk, and to fix this problem I have to unplug the disk (USB) and plug it back into the computer.
