Drive Recovery

I have an NTFS drive that has recently become corrupted (Thanks a lot Windows 7). The drive isn't damaged or anything like that, it is just a corrupt file system.

I was wondering if anyone can recommend some good drive recovery software for Mac that supports NTFS partitions. I really need to get the data off before I reformat the drive in HFS+.

It's not free, but Data Rescue II from Prosoft might work. Their free demo will read the drive and you can recover 1 file 5MB or less... Otherwise it's $99, but if your data is irreplaceable, it might not be a bad investment. They say it can recover both PC and Mac drives so I'm assuming NTFS is supported...

Not sure on these.

However, SpinRite will work with all drive formats. Just requires a PC to use which I assume that you have by the way you wrote your original message.
