What driver is needed for HP Laser Jet 1018 printer for a MacBookPro using OSX version 10.5.8 as operating system?

There is no driver that will support this. I have the same printer and gave up on getting it to work. There is a very roundabout way to do it, but it requires reflashing the printers firmware every time that it is powered down. i think your best bet is to buy another printer.
