Drives in iPods

Does anybody know the name of the manufactures of the drives in the new iPods? Or has anybody taken one apart yet? That would be cool.

no, the flash memory for the nano is from samsung

There are two memory suppliers for the nano, Toshiba and Samsung. At first is was thought that the 2GB units got Toshiba and the 4GB ones had Samsung, but later it turned out that both models vary.

For the "big" iPod, it's Toshiba disks. The minis used Hitachi drives.
