Quick question on how much power I need for 4K on a MacBook Pro with Retina display.

Is the Iris Pro 5200 on the Mid-2015 MBP enough to drive a 4K display at 60Hz, or would the AMD chip be vastly better at this? I'm not doing any rendering, editing, etc., but I would like a buttery smooth OS X / desktop experience.

Thanks a bunch!

It'll work just fine. I'm doing 4K at 60Hz no problem on my Late 2013 15" MBP.
