Driving Directions - Podcast Paused during Spoken Directions

With iOS 9 Beta 5, when listening to a podcast with the native Podcasts app while also using driving directions from the native Maps app, the podcast would pause during the spoken direction then automatically start again when the direction was complete. With iOS 9 GM, I have found that the driving directions are spoken on top of the playing podcast, which I do not like at all. Has anyone else seen this?

I have noticed the same thing. I was very excited to see that change in beta 5, and was very disappointed to see it missing in the 9.1 beta. I cannot imagine who prefers siri talking over their podcasts, maybe the same people that talk in the movie theatre....
