I had a question posed to me from a book author about DRM software. This is so they can send a new book to a prospective publisher and still protect it from copying and distribution (stealing) before a publishing agreement is in place. The author does have NDA's with these publishers but would like further protection.
Anyways, I found one program called Desktop Author which seems to fit the bill. As it provides DRM for titles, a free reader program and is compatible with both Mac and Windows.
I was wondering if any of you had experience with this program or had alternatives to suggest which may be better and provide a wider range of compatibility.
